Dr. Norbert Tchiadje is a highly qualified professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience in the field of agricultural and environmental engineering. He holds a Postdoctoral Certificate in Social Vulnerability and Disasters, as well as a Postdoctoral Certificate in Building Skills for a Successful Career. Dr. Tchiadje obtained his PhD in Applied Development Sciences and has pursued further studies, including a Certificate in Advanced Studies (CAS) in Integrated Water Resources Management from Bern University of Applied Sciences, a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Technology and Sustainable Development from the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and a Diploma in International Environmental Law from UNITAR in Geneva. He also holds a specialised Postgraduate Certificate in Technology and Sustainable Development from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) in India and EPFL.
With his extensive educational background, Dr. Tchiadje has gained a broad range of technical and business skills, enabling him to excel in various areas related to agricultural and environmental engineering. He is not only capable of working in these specialised fields but also brings his expertise to educational consultancy. Currently, Dr. Tchiadje serves as a jointly senior lecturer at the University of Ebolowa in Cameroon, a researcher at the Pan-African Institute for Development in Cameroon, a mentor at the African Academy of Sciences, a Technical Expert at UN-Energy and AUDA-NEPAD, and holds the position of Deputy Chair Expert in the Working Group for Pandemic-Biodiversity at Eklipse in Europe. Additionally, he serves as an International Consultancy Officer at the National Postdoctoral Association in the USA.
Dr. Tchiadje's previous experience includes a visiting scholar position at MIT-DUSP (USA) from 2014 to 2015 and an assistant lecturer (Distance Learning) role at the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from 2007 to 2012. With his extensive academic and professional background, Dr. Tchiadje brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his various roles, making significant contributions to the fields of agricultural and environmental engineering, educational consultancy, and research.
